I Wonder is a song from the perspective of someone watching an older lady sitting somewhere. It's a musing about wondering about what that woman is thinking about. Is she lost? Is she scared? Is she remembering her past? The song doesn't reveal what the situation about; rather it explores the observation of this character and of wondering what this woman is doing there in that particular place.
